Jonas Brothers playing free show in NY

By David J. Prince

NEW YORK (Billboard) - The Jonas Brothers will perform a free club concert Thursday at Irving Plaza in New York City, giving fans a sneak preview of tunes from their upcoming album.

Admission will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors for the all-ages show will open at 8 p.m., and the band goes on at 9 p.m. No opening act is scheduled.

The teen pop sensations will release their fourth album, "Lines, Vines and Trying Times," on June 15.

The show will also preview elements of the group's forthcoming world tour -- which begins in South America in mid-May before heading to the United Kingdom and Europe in early June. The 44-date North American leg begins June 20 at the Dallas Cowboys New Stadium in Texas and wraps August 31 at the Scotiabank Place in Ottawa.
